Please read these Terms of Business carefully before engaging with Moss Be Gone Limited (MBG) for exterior property cleaning and maintenance services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Services:
MBG will provide professional exterior property cleaning and maintenance services as agreed upon with the customer. The scope of services, including frequency, location, and pricing, will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of any work.
2. Pricing and Payment:
a. Pricing: The pricing for our services will be provided to the customer in writing, either through our website, email, post, or in-person. The quoted price may vary depending on factors such as the size of the property, the number of windows, and the level of difficulty involved.
b. Payment: Payment for our services is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment by cash, cheque, card, or bank transfer. Any outstanding invoices must be settled within 14 days of receipt. In most cases, a deposit will be required in order to secure a date in the diary.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
a. Customer Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
b. Company Cancellations: In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and make alternative arrangements at your convenience.
4. Access and Security:
a. Access: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that our team can access all areas of the property due to be cleaned. If you have any specific access requirements or security measures in place, please inform us in advance.
b. Security: While we take utmost care during our operations, we cannot accept liability for any damage caused to the property, including but not limited to the roof, guttering, windows, frames or surrounding fixtures. Please ensure that all valuable or fragile items are removed from the vicinity of the areas due to be cleaned.
5. Customer Obligations:
a. Cooperation: The customer agrees to cooperate with our team during the provision of services, including providing necessary information, access to the property, and ensuring the safety of our personnel.
b. Health and Safety: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the work environment is safe for our team. This includes removing any hazards or obstacles that may pose a risk during the cleaning or maintenance process. c. Accuracy of Information: The customer must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the property, including any specific requirements or instructions.
6. Complaints and Disputes:
a. Complaints: If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 48 hours of the completion of the work. We will make every effort to address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and to your satisfaction.
b. Disputes: In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to seek mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods before pursuing legal action.
7. Liability:
a. Limitation: We will exercise reasonable care and skill in the provision of our services. However, we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss, or injury arising from the use of our services, except in cases of negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
b. Insurance: We maintain adequate liability insurance to cover any potential damages or claims arising from our operations.
8. Confidentiality:
Any information shared between the customer and MBG will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not be disclosed to third parties without the customer's consent, except as required by law.
9. Intellectual Property:
All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trademarks and logos, associated with our services, remain the property of MBG. You may not use or reproduce any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
10. Amendments:
We reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms of Business at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the customer in writing and will take effect immediately upon notification.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms of Business shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
